Speed Cloth

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Speed cloth is the material commonly known for its use on many types of gaming tables such as poker, blackjack and many others. Casinos use speed cloth for many reasons. The material is durable and will not frizz or ball up with use. Typically it is water resistant and fire retardant, which definitely is a plus. The main perk of speed cloth is that because of the composite of the material when the cards are dealt they slide right to the player that they are aimed for, making the dealing process much more consistent. What is exciting is that Casino grade wool blend speed cloth is now available for purchase for the everyday consumer, available in a variety of colors and styles.
